new artist: robin venable

Robin Venable is not only a talented artist with a unique sense of style, she is also one of my best friends.  She has been one of my biggest supporters since I started Paper House Press, and I feel lucky that I will get the chance to feature her work.  Robin works with ornate patterns and complicated/detailed surfaces, with figurative and abstract thrown into the mix.  Her work is not typical, so you would hardly expect to see it on a typical square canvas.  All of Robin’s pieces are painted onto circular canvases which definitely give them their own unique personality.
